I love that Rose’s is open so late. The pizza is usually pretty fresh because they are always busy. I’d stick with the popular choices to be safe. Some menu items look like they have been sitting around for a while. You will be surprised at how good a plain slice of cheese ($4.10) pizza tastes. You really don’t need any of the fancy stuff. Great place to go when waiting for a train at Penn Station.
MoreI absolutely loved their dishes and customer service, great location next to my house. The employees are always super friendly. Will come visit again.
MoreSolid pizza, decent price, fast service, and they've got a wide variety of sodas, teas, and beers. Tables and chairs were all very clean. Would recommend if you're waiting in the station.
MoreGood spot for a quick bite of pizza and beer. If you're a fan of both this a must if at Penn station.
MoreFast pizza perfect for those waiting to catch a train.Slices are large. My eyes were buffer than my stomach and I got two slices. I probably could have gotten away with just buying one.Lots of seating in the back, and they do a good job keeping it clean.
MoreOne of the best pizza places in NY, true hidden gem. Slices are ready extremely quick but can be pricey. I prefer the Rose’s Pizza next to the one in the photos
MoreVery good pizza.. Service was great to.. I would go back
Big Guy says its his favorite place, so ill take his word for it.
Conveniently located and good selection of pizza and beer. I recommend a Sicilian Red slice, if you don't have time and are on the go.
MoreNever been here, but Mr. Jschlatt says it's good.
I tried several pizzas while in NYC, this was the best 🙌💕 and they actually have places to sit because it’s in the subway station
MoreCame here after getting off the train and what a selection of slices they have. The pepperoni was very delicious and I was disappointed in myself for not getting another slice. The price wasn’t bad however what is holding them back is cleanliness. The place should be renovated with tables and chairs that clean up easy and wouldn’t get dirty as quickly.
MoreI typically try not to eat at Penn Station (just because I feel like there are better options outside), but this pizza was bomb! I try to get a slice of pizza every time I come to NYC and Rose's did not disappoint.
MoreWhat can i say it's all about the pizza it's not the best in the world but it's good i enjoy eating there all the time while waiting for my train to queens
MoreWe arrived at this place for dinner. we heard about this spot from many people. Well, it was very successful. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we felt good. The meal was great. We enjoyed every moment and we will visit this place again. we highly recommend this place.
MoreAbsolute garbage. I've tried this place twice and was disappointed each time Tourist trap for sure Not true NYC pizza
MoreExcellent pizza. When anyone refers to NY pizza, this is what they are talking about. Trust me. I’ve been going to this place since it was the original Caruso’s.
MoreJschlatt said its good
Great pizza with a tasty sauce and cheese. Customer service is fast and friendly highly recommend
MoreI tried this spot before with my friend and I am addicted since then. I liked the good character and yummy food and beverages. Keep up the good work.
MoreThis is my preferred pizza location. I'm always greeted with a kind hello and a smile. This is my neighborhood so I feel like I'm ordering from a friend and not so much a business.
MoreThe shopkeepers are quiet friendly but tbe pizza we ordered were pretty hard and dry.The price was also high. Also, when enquired about pasta, they said "no pasta, only pizza".Good thing is that they have many seating places and the service is very fast. There is also a drinks bar. Being inside the station complex, the price is understandably high. But the food quality is expected to be good.
MoreSo many choices. Good pizza
The best pizza in Grand Central Station 🍕🚉
Best pizza even jschlatt says
weird place for it, but great pizza
Pizzas are surprisingly good and you can get draft peroni.
Good pizza, not overpriced, and quick service.if you are in Pen station either waiting for the train or going to the game go to grab a slice and a beer.
MoreWent in for a quick bite, wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Generous slices, large variety, seating available. Will definitely have again!
MoreEvery pizza they have looks fantastic and delicious; however , after you pay a ridiculously high price for a slice you will be very dissatisfied with the lack of seasoning and flavor. I'm sure most of the good reviews are from people who have come here late night after drinking. Again presentation is 5 stars but the taste is barely a 2 so that combined with the filithy atmosphere in the store made me come to the 3 star declaration
MoreBoyfriend got food poisoning from a slice of pizza here. AVOID!! Less than an hour after eating two slices of the square pizza he experienced abdominal pain and diarrhea; and remained that way for the next 5-6 hours. I’m not sure it was full on e.coli or salmonella but perhaps the pizza was left out for too long or the ingredients were past their due date. In either case, AVOID!!
MoreThe pizza is very good but they priced me out of the market. $4.10 per regular slice is over the top.
MoreLove their pizza and selection of craft beers. Sad they are going to close in April
MoreRude staff that harasses people; lukewarm, overpriced pizza. Do yourself a favor and head outside for a slice. Cheaper and tastes better anyway.
MoreConvenient location when you're on the go. A little on the pricey side, but food is good. Did I mention the massive amount of choices... something for everybody.
MoreI always stop by with the intention of eating only one slice. It never fails that I find myself back at the counter a second or even third time for more. Some of the best pizza in NYC for sure. Also the staff is pleasant. Keep up the good work Rose’s!
MorePizza pizza pizza! I rarely EVER get a chance to eat pizza but when I was in New York, I had to make it happen! New York pizza is hand tossed and is topped with a dry mozzarella cheese instead of the stringy kind. Since our trip was so packed, we only ended up going for pizza on our last day at Penn Station at Rose's pizza. We heard great things about the long standing shop so we were more than happy that it was at such a convenient location for us!Rose's pizza has HUGE pizza slices! They also offered a large variety of pizzas to choose from. I was so overwhelmed when I walked into their store because there were pizzas everywhere!
MoreAlways reliable and ready for you in Penn Station, Rose's Pizza is a staple here and the quality has never dipped in the decade that I've been going here.If you're waiting for a train or coming into Penn, it's always a good stop to grab a bite or sit down to enjoy your food, and plus it's New York City Pizza, you can't go wrong. It's not one of the higher-end locations that you can get a slice at and it's also not a 99-cent slice place where you're going to the paying dirt cheap for a good product, it's reasonably priced pizza and you get that same satisfaction, plus the proximity to the trains can't be beaten.
MoreThe go to spot for pizza and beers before MSG games or concerts. Go to spot when waiting for one of the trains to Li or NJ or wherever. Huge beers for cheap. Great regular and craft beers for $7-12 (20oz and 32 oz).Pizza isn't amazing but its good and gets the job done.
MoreMy boy JSchlatt reccomended this place and it didn't disappoint. As soon as I got off the train, I immediately sat down for a quick bite. Good stuff.
MoreFair pizza, a little pricey for my taste. My favorite slices are their Spicy Pepperoni and their fajita peppers. Can’t beat the location though!
MoreThey have a variety of pizza that always hits the spot but the true gem is how cheap it is for a 32 ounce of beer. The perfect pick me up after a long train ride into Penn station. The best thing is you get a to go cup and can walk around with it like a normal drink without getting a ticket. Highly recommended stopping in to pass some time or get a quick drink for the road.
MoreThe pizza here is surprisingly pretty good. I’ve gotten a pie before and was impressed! Just because it’s in Penn Station, I wouldn’t overlook it. I wouldn’t recommend a buffalo slice as they didn’t look great but both the regular and grandma slices are good choices.Prices are pretty high but comparable to NYC. If you order a pie, it’s always fresh but it sometimes takes 20 minutes because they’re almost always so busy.
MoreIf you love lots of mushrooms on a pepperoni and mushroom pizza, then this is a great pizza. When my daughter asked me to take her to have pizza, I suggested we go to Penn Station. She asked me if Penn Station was a dining destination (I'm sure she was trying to be sarcastic) and I said it would be better than the last place I went. I had just gone to another pizza place earlier that afternoon and was not impressed (a little cold in the middle and overpriced...... and they call themselves "famous" 🤔). Anyway we went to Rose's pizza and we were pleasantly surprised. The service was fast, the pizzas were hot and tasty, and the toppings were full some for a change. There's also a selection of beers on tap there.
MoreFun place to people watch. Heard it's going the way of the Dodo, though. That's a true shame.
MoreMy buddy James Schlatt recommended this place to me and i've got to say, it's the best Pizza in all of Manhattan. If you want a perfectly cooked NY style pizza, Rose's is the spot!
MoreBest pizza in the city in my opinion. Buffalo chicken slices are excellent. Also the only place in the city where it is acceptable to drink beer with a straw. Highly recommend!
MoreA great place to grab a quick NY slice or dine in. I enjoyed there pepperoni slice and garlic knots. I can't wait to visit during my next trip to Penn Station.
MoreThis pizza tastes like nothing. As a New Yorker I am ashamed that this would be something someone passing through would have as New York Pizza. Go upstairs to the Amtrak area and get a better slice there at least. Bad Pizza.
